Why is my replay transferred to the US and what are the risks?
While an adequacy decision (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) is currently
in force and covers your replay being transferred to Discord Inc., we provide
this fallback disclosure in the event of future legal modifications. Under US surveillance laws
(such as FISA Section 702), there are structural differences in data
protection compared to the EU, which could limit judicial redress against
state access if the current adequacy decision is invalidated in the
future.
